As issues of LGBTQI+ equality continue to roil our schools, our work places, and our civil square, it is more imperative than ever that we continue to have strong leaders who can hold the line against the onslaught of attacks that we see around us every day . It is also imperative that we equip those leaders with the tools they need to fight for real progress for equality. That is why we are tremendously excited to announce the formation of The Equality Caucus Institute.  

Our mission is to create, empower, and mobilize the next generation of LGBTQI+ leaders through ECI’s Leadership Institute and Center for Federal Policy and Research.

​We are at a unique moment in history for the LGBTQI+ community. Although we have made many tremendous strides, we are seeing a renewed set of disturbing attacks on our community that must be addressed. We must push back hard against this barrage of anti-LGBTQ rhetoric and build a strong pipeline of leaders with expertise on these issues who can lead us into the future.
