WIND & WARRIOR INSTITUTE FOR LIBERATORY HEALING

The Wind & The Warrior apply indigenous healing modalities and cultural arts practices within movements for transformative justice and spaces of mutual aid. Wind & Warrior Institute for Liberatory Healing (WWILH): Cultivating Community and Movement Healers through Education and Mentorship
Our mission as WWILH is to share the insights and methodologies we’ve gathered in the fields of wellness, indigenous healing, mindfulness, and ritual/ceremonial arts. Our priority is to share these through intergenerational mentorship. We offer comprehensive multi-year trainings in cultural arts and healing arts for Black and Native women and gender-expansive spirit-healers whose practices serve multi-issue movements for
intersectional justice and freedom.
As a collective of Black and Queer spiritualists, artists, cultural organizers, and activists, we work directly with Black and Indigenous leaders and those of allied communities, on the frontlines of environmental justice and climate emergency; abolition, gender justice; economic justice; and LGBTQ+ belonging.
Our power-building and liberation work centers the cultivation of love-based interventions within collective relationship dynamics. We facilitate mind-body-spirit healing, in the indigenous traditions of our ancestors. In our view, the health of our relationships is as critical to social change as direct frontline action: whole people bring about lasting change.
